What does Gynaecology mean?

Gynaecology is the branch of medicine that deals with conditions affecting the female reproductive system.

A Gynaecologist diagnoses and treats conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, gynaecological cancers and more.

During your gynaecology appointment you will discuss your symptoms with your consultant who may examine you and if necessary refer you for scans and tests.

Miss Bakali is a certified colposcopist allowing her to perform cervical screening tests and treatments to the cervix.
