About Evi Bakali
Miss Evangelia Bakali is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist who has been practising since 2008. She provides comprehensive care for a wide range of women’s health conditions, including menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, fibroids, menopause, endometriosis, and cervical abnormalities.
After graduating from the University of Leicester in 2006 with a degree in Medicine, Miss Bakali went on to become a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and subsequently earned her PhD. She also holds full accreditation as a colposcopist with the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP).
As an accredited colposcopist, Miss Bakali is a core member of the Oncology and Colposcopy Multidisciplinary Team at the HCA Harborne Hospital, where she specialises in the management and treatment of women with gynaecological cancers and pre-cancerous conditions.
Beyond her expertise in colposcopy, Miss Bakali has advanced skills in hysteroscopy and laparoscopic (keyhole) hysterectomy procedures. Since 2008, she has successfully performed more than 800 laparoscopic surgeries, treating a broad spectrum of gynaecological conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, menstrual disorders, and polyps. Her holistic approach includes diagnostic procedures, fibroid resections, endometrial ablations, and the management of symptoms such as post-coital bleeding and abnormal cervical smears.
