🩷 Menopause Talk & Q+A at HCA Harborne Hospital

On 15th September, I had the pleasure of hosting a Menopause Talk and Q+A session at HCA Harborne Hospital.

It was a fantastic evening spent discussing one of the most important and often misunderstood stages of women’s health — the menopause. We explored what really happens during this transition, why symptoms vary from woman to woman, and how individualised care can make a real difference.

Topics we covered included:

  • Understanding hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause

  • Managing common symptoms such as hot flushes, mood changes, and sleep issues

  • The role of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) — benefits, myths, and safety

  • Lifestyle approaches that can help with long-term wellbeing

  • Open Q+A session for attendees to ask personalised questions

The discussion was open, empowering, and filled with insightful

questions from women wanting to take control of their health and

feel more confident in their bodies.

I’m passionate about helping women navigate menopause with

clarity and confidence — it’s never “just a phase,” and support

should always be tailored, evidence-based, and compassionate.

💬 A Review from the Event

“I felt that it was incredibly valuable, echoed by every guest in the room. Thank you for your hospitality along with a real privilege to experience the quality and expertise of your speakers, I learned so much ... it was an emotional event for some but it was handled with the upmost sensitivity and compassion, which is a true reflection of your wonderful selves the excellent care at THH. I will continue to spread the word.”

Receiving feedback like this makes events like these truly rewarding. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to such a positive, engaging session.

If you missed the event but would like advice on managing menopause or HRT options, you can book a consultation at my Birmingham clinics — I’d be delighted to help.
